    (1) Using a “Temperature Gun” or infrared thermometer will result in measuring surface temperatures. Air temperatures are needed for the cabinet cooling calculations. Please use a standard thermometer or thermocouple to measure the air temperature.

    NOTE: If you do not use the control cabinet coolers in continuous operation, the following control options offer a very effective way to save compressed air.

    Electronic temperature control

    ETC (Electronic Temperature Control) by EXAIR supports precise temperature control for your cabinet. The temperature is kept at the set value with an accuracy of ± 0.56°C (1°F). The digital display shows the temperature on the interior of the cabinet and only trips the solenoid valve (included) if the temperature setting is exceeded. The ETC’s ABS/PC plastic housing is suitable for environments corresponding to NEMA 12, 4 and 4X (IP54 and IP66). (Cabinet Cooler not included.)

    1. Electronic temperature control for control cabinet coolers

    Thermostat

    The adjustable thermostat is factory set to 35°C. It normally keeps the desired temperature with a tolerance of ±1°C. It is designed for 24 V and 240 V, 50/60 Hz and approved by UL and CSA.
