Il utilise le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de vortex pour produire un flux d&rsquo;air froid qui permettra d&rsquo;\u00e9vacuer les copeaux et refroidir l&rsquo;outil de coupe et le mat\u00e9riau. Il permet d&rsquo;abaisser la temp\u00e9rature de l&rsquo;air comprim\u00e9 entrant de 10\u00b0C et de canaliser ce flux d&rsquo;air froid vers le point de coupe, exactement comme une conduite d&rsquo;arrosage. Ainsi, les copeaux sont \u00e9vacu\u00e9s et en utilisant de l&rsquo;air plus froid, vous pourrez r\u00e9duire l&rsquo;accumulation de chaleur \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de l&rsquo;outil de coupe et du mat\u00e9riau, pouvant ainsi \u00e9galement emp\u00eacher le fluage thermique. Le fait de maintenir l&rsquo;outil de coupe et le mat\u00e9riau plus frais permet de diminuer l&rsquo;usure de l&rsquo;outillage ou du rev\u00eatement de l&rsquo;outil.
