Maximum Drying Performance, Minimal Energy Consumption
When using an adsorption dryer, the moist compressed air is passed through a reusable desiccant which, due to its hygroscopic properties, can absorb large amounts of water vapor and trap it within its pores. Unlike a refrigerated dryer, no condensate is produced.
Thanks to their operating principle, adsorption dryers are insensitive to ambient temperature fluctuations and varying flow rates. Their greatest advantage, however, is the consistently stable pressure dew points, which range from -40 °C to -70 °C depending on the model.
No electricity is required to operate an adsorption dryer, which usually offsets the higher initial purchase costs in a relatively short time. In addition, adsorption dryers do not require cooling, which has a positive effect on operating costs.
